Plateau State University (PLASU) has received full accreditation for 17 of its academic programmes from the National Universities Commission (NUC).
This was disclosed by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Doknan Sheni.
According to him, the university the institution needed the accreditation to operate as a full-fledged university and was confident that with the accreditation, the university would admit more than 1,000 students in the 2016/2017 academic year.
He revealed that before now, the university usually admit 300 to 400 students but now can admit 1000 to 3000 students.
