It was reported two days ago that two students of Abia State University were beheaded as rival cult groups clashed on campus.
We are only three months into 2016 and since the beginning of the year, there has been quite a number of cult-related activities in universities that has led to deaths of the cult members and even innocent people.

Cultists Behead 2 in Rivers State:
On February 16, cult members in Rivers state reportedly attacked four people in their homes and killed them all. Two of those were gruesomely beheaded.
Cultists Hacked Man To Death in Lagos State:
A young man in Ikorodu area of Lagos State was hacked to pieces with a machete by cultists after they shot him several times. It was reported this incident, which took place on March 7, was a reprisal attack.
Poly Student Dies In Ilorin:
A student of the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin was shot to death by five gunmen suspected to be cultists on February 24.
Notorious Cultist Murdered By Rival Gang
A cultist Adebayo Ajia, met a gruesome end in the hands of a rival cult group that has been on his trail for years for allegedly killing some of their members. The incident, which took place in Kwara, was reported on March 1. Ajia was said to be one of the ring leaders of the Aiye Confraternity.
Man Stabbed By Cultists When He Refused To Buy Them Drinks
On January 15, two members of a cult group murdered a 21-year-old man in cold blood. The cultist came looking for the deceased requesting he must buy them drinks after they find out that he had previously bought drinks for other of their friends. He was eventually killed when he refused.
65-year-old Woman Killed During Cult Clash
A 65-year-old woman was reportedly killed during a cult clash between seven cultists on January 23. Members of Eiye confraternity had a clash with another rival cult group known as Aiye confraternity. The battle saw a couple of innocent casualties including the woman.
