It is no longer a joke at the Senate building of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO). As information coming down from mount Sin-nah confirms the impeachment of the just newly elected Vice Chancellor.
He was declared winner, Prof. Francis C. Eze, KSJI on the 17th of march, 2016 and then he couldn’t even be allowed to sit his ass down on the exalted chair before being impeached. What now happened to the so colorful profile of this professor? because we believe that he is a good man considering all the good testimonials from people who have worked with him.
So we are now asking, what has our new VC done wrong? Has he stolen our money already? does he have bad intentions for Nigerian students? OR was this Election rigged. Although we are not surprised by this development because there had already been a rumor arising before now that the then incumbent VC has a contestant in mind for the position which was not in line with the choice of the other members of the council.
This is one fat irregularity that needs an explanation because if we get nothing from this, FUTO will now have a permanent comma at its suffix for the next 4 years. we only wonder what could then be happening at the SUG elections.
